Affiliate
Marketing
Affiliate
marketing is where you sell other people's products for
commission. You do not always need your own website,
although sometimes it is advantageous. There are a
huge number of programmes out there to choose from - these
are some of the best:
Leisure Audio
Books
It now seems that just about everybody has an
ipod, or another brand of MP3 player, so this is a huge
market. Coupled with us all being very busy and having
less and less time for leisure, the audio book industry
has taken off in a big way. Rather than listening to
music or the radio whilst driving to work, or stuck in
traffic, what about listening to an audio book? Leisure
Audio Books have a huge range for immediate download
(see here for the sales website), and
they also offer a generous commission if you are interested
in selling. It is free to join, although
there is an upgrade option you may want to consider.
SFI (Strong Futures
International)
SFI have been online since 1998, and are one of the oldest
and largest affiliate companies, with tens of thousands of
affiliates from all round the world. They market a
variety of products, including nutritional, cleaning,
personal care, pet care, and telecommunication products, as
well as the IAHBE (International Association of Home
Business Entrepreneurs). It is free to join, and the
commissions are generous.
Internet Marketing
Center
The IMC have been around for a few years. They were
originally run by the late Corey Rudl, and now Derek Gehl
is the CEO, and they are still doing a great job.
They have a variety of internet marketing products which
they sell, and they are all high quality items. They
generally run a promotion every month, and just by sending
an email out to your list, you can earn some big
commission cheques. It is free to join.
Clickbank
Clickbank sell approximately 10,000 different items, all for
immediate download. They are mainly ebooks, but there is
also software. They cover a very wide range of subjects,
so whatever your interest you are likely to find
something. Clickbank are probably the largest of the
downloadable affiliate sites. It is free to join, and
extremely easy to get set up, and commissions are paid every
fortnight, and you can expect to get in the region of 50%.

PayDotCom
PayDotCom is relatively new, but is increasing in popularity
all the time. They are similar to Clickbank in that they
market a wide variety of products, but they also sell physical
products as well, not just downloadable items. The
company is owned by Mike Filsaime, who you may have
heard of. It is free to join, commissions range from
5%-80%, and you will be paid by Paypal.
Commission
Junction
Commission Junction administer affiliate programs for many
offline companies, and you will mainly find physical products
here. You will need to have your own website to be able
to join here. Free to join, and worth a visit to see the
range of goods available to promote.
